What is Reiki and Vibrational Re-alignment?
It is the God-Consciousness called Rei that guides life energy called Ki (or chi) in the practice we call Reiki. Understanding its name in this way allows us to define it as spiritually guided life energy. Reiki is life energy that is guided by a Higher Power.All healers use life energy or Ki, but not all use Reiki. Because Reiki is guided by God-Consciousness, it can never do harm. It always knows what a person needs and will adjust itself to create an effect that is appropriate.
Vibrational Re-alignment uses the energy of Reiki with Alicia's gifts of intuition, clairvoyance, and clairaudience to release blockages and traumas that have been lodged in the subconscious, aura, and chakras. Being fully guided by God Consciousness she facilitates the cleansing of the aura, balancing of the chakras, and alignment of the bodies with the 'WholeBody'; which has perfect memory of It's Wholeness, Health, and Well-Being. Energy or Ki is responsive to thoughts and feelings. When we have negative thoughts, our Ki is disrupted and diminished and we do not feel as good. When negative thoughts become lodged in the subconscious mind, they create a permanent disruption to the flow of Ki. This happens when we consciously or unconsciously accept negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves. These negative thoughts and feelings attach themselves to the aura and disrupt the flow of energy into and through the bodies.
What Happens In A Session?
The Reiki energy works with the negative thoughts and feelings that are blocking one's natural flow of Ki and heals them as well. This can happen in a number of ways. By flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy, Reiki raises the vibratory level in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears, straightens, and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing healthy Ki to flow in a natural way. Sometimes the entire blocking energy is lifted up to a higher field of energy where it is processed and then released. Other times, it is melted away or burned up, which may feel like hot or cold sensations to the client. Once Ki is flowing naturally, the physical organs and tissues are then able to complete the healing process.
As an Intuitve, I use my gifts of clairaudiance and clairvoyance, in unison with Spirit Guides, the Angelic Realm, and Native American Shaman, to heal that which stands between the body, the soul, and their Remembrance of Divinity. Working directly with the subconscious and chakras facilitates this at a cellular level of conscious memory.
Reiki when combined with Hypnotherapy has the added benefit of moving more deeply into the wound which is creating the blockage in the subconscious, therefore healing it at the root.
Distant Reiki Healing Sessions
To the world of Spirit there is no such thing as time or space. The world we see around us is only a small fragment or slice of all which exists. This small fragment is that which our physical bodies can detect through our senses, and then tells our mind is "real."
Since there is no time and space to limit Spirit, or God-Consciousness, Reiki can operate without regard to limitations of time and space, being that these exist only on our physical plane.
A level II Reiki practitioner can bring healing to a recipient regardless of distance.
Now, having done thousands of remote healings over the past 10 years, I can confidently say there is little difference in the end result between the client I have worked on in person, and the client I have worked on from a distance. God's Love and Consciousness is ever Present, and with Divine Intention, can be sent to any human, animal, or living thing because all is done through The Mind of God.
When working with someone from a distance, I first objectify my client, giving myself a physical representation of the person's body and energy. By "objectify," I mean to make what is absent, "present," by giving the Reiki a "bridge" to cross between my mind, heart, and hands through the ethers to my client. It is easier for the conscious mind to work with a tangible, physical representation, rather than to conceive what it cannot of the abstract. While I prepare for all remote healings by first going into a deep state of meditation, moving out of the conscious mind and into the Mind of The Christ-Consciousness, it is still beneficial to give my conscious mind something to feel while I send Reiki to the client. Therefore, when doing a remote healing, I find it helpful to have a tangible form to work with, and it is usually my Reiki Bear.
There are many ways of visualizing or objectifying a client, however. For instance, I may intend that my knee be the same as my client's knee, which will also create the necessary connection. Or I may draw in the air a shape to represent the recipient. I may use my Reiki teddy bear, pillow, or some other physical object as a stand in. Energy follows thought and flows with intention, I am limited only by my imagination.
Again, my connection to the Higher Realms of Spirit and Guidance allow for Divine Will to govern any action. My clairaudiance, clairvoyance, and clairsentience, along with the Energy, Love, and Light of The Archangels, Ascended Masters, and I AM Presence, ensure the Highest Good of the client as first intention.
Healing Crises
Most of the time, a Reiki session will result in the recipient feeling uplifted and at peace. This is not always the case, however, as a Reiki session can also bring on a healing crisis. A healing crisis occurs when a person experiences a release or a shift which re-aligns the bodies with the Wholebody. As a result, stored toxins are released into the body. These toxins, which have been held in the body, then enter the blood stream where they filter through the liver and kidneys before being expelled from the body. Another way a person may experience this healing crises is emotionally. There are often times when a client will leave feeling wonderful, only to find that 1-3 days after the session, the blockage comes up to the surface needing to be released through the emotional body. This can be experienced and expressed through tears, anger, or sadness. These feelings will quickly pass if they are given permission and space to do so.
When this happens, people may feel weak or jittery, or they may experience a headache or upset stomach. The symptoms are usually similar to those that people experience when doing a full-system cleanse. When this happens, it is important that the person takes good care of themselves, drinks plenty of water to stay hydrated, eats light healthy meals, and gets enough rest. This is the body's way of cleansing itself, and it is a good sign that the body's healing process has been engaged.

Healing The Whole Through Self
When You receive the Gift of a Reiki attunement, You are opening Yourself and Your senses to embrace the ancient art and energy of Reiki.
Every person has the power to heal his own body, mind, and Spirit, as well as that of another person through the use of intent and loving energy. And when You heal Yourself, You are also healing The Whole, the Greater Body to which we are all connected. Reiki follows a system that is already present in each one of us. However, not everyone is nurturing this Gift.
This is where Reiki attunements help. Reiki attunements open the door towards the path that connect the human body to the main source of Universal Life Energy.
Reiki attunements can only be performed by a Reiki Master. This process can't be learned on your own, as there are many concepts to know and many techniques to practice. Reiki Masters can properly guide their students into the Reiki world using the right channels. As such, this can be a truly life-changing experience for them.
Generally, Reiki attunements raise one's overall vibration.
By clearing the old negative thoughts and emotions that lower one's vibration and consciousness, a higher more fine vibration of Love fills in to take it's place, thus raising the vibration of the bodies. It can also bring a unique healing experience to people, especially those who are suffering from an emotional crisis. You can expect a Reiki attunement to make radical changes in the way you think, eat, work, and relate with others.
However, all of these changes are attained only by choosing the right Reiki Master. How often a Reiki Master practices the art of Reiki Healing, how long the Reiki Master has been attuned to the energy, and the belief systems of a Reiki Master are critical pieces of information to know when choosing Your Teacher. Experience and devotion to Self healing will make a profound impact on the clarity of the energy You will be attuned to.
An Attunement can be either permanent or temporary. If you intend to undergo a permanent Reiki attunement, you need to consult with an expert Reiki practitioner for assistance.
Why is a Reiki Attunement Necessary?
Without going through a Reiki Attunement, it is impossible for You to become a Reiki Practitioner. In its general form, this procedure is a spiritual ceremony that introduces You to the Reiki Symbols and all of their concepts. During an Attunement, energy patterns are created around You. These patterns are each attuned to the Universal Energy of Life, or God Consciousness. It is only by the Master passing the Sacred and Traditional symbols down to You, through Your subconscious mind, while drawing them energetically into specific chakras, that the Reiki is "sealed" within Your energetic bodies. You will not be attuned in any permanent way simply by receiving a Reiki treatment by someone who has been attuned.
Reiki requires an attunement because it is its own process of initiation. It is impossible to have access to Reiki through simple meditation and intellectual exercises alone. You have to know how to open your crown chakra to let the Reiki energy in, and then allow it to pass through you. Without proper training, or if you have failed to go through the attunement process, it is impossible to complete even the first level of Reiki.
A Reiki attunement is an initiation to open up crown, heart, and palm chakras to allow Reiki energies to flow through. A period of purification before the attunement is suggested, but not necessary, to aid this process.
The Levels of Reiki Attunements
Reiki Level I - Benefits The Physical Body
The Reiki Level I Attunement opens the body's "channel" to become a conduit for this higher vibration of healing energy. Awareness of the energy beginning to flow from the hands is often experienced during or immediately following the Attunement. Once attuned, a person will never lose the ability to use Reiki. In Reiki I the history of Reiki and the hand positions are taught. A Reiki attunement takes about 20-30 minutes and is a very relaxing and often deeply spiritual experience. A person can be attuned to Level I, and practice Reiki on the self and others and never have any further Attunements, however, to become a "Practitioner," Reiki II is required.
Reiki Level II - Benefits The Mental/Emotional Bodies
This Attunement raises and refines the energy flowing through the student even further. During this Attunement, the student learns the 3 Reiki symbols: The Power Symbol, The Mental/Emotional Healing Symbol, and The Distance Healing Symbol. Knowing how and when to use the symbols empowers the flow of this energy with focus and conscious intent. With these symbols You will be able to heal mental and emotional wounds, as well as send Reiki over time and space; for healing the past or empowering the future, or aiding loved ones far away. The Reiki II Attunement seems to have the greatest effect on the subtle bodies, also known in the western world as the Aura.
As taught by my Reiki Master Teacher, I too, teach that at least 6 months be taken to really practice and learn the art of Reiki Healing before considering the Attunement to Level III. There will be so much that begins to shift and transform in Your life from receiving the first two Attunements, that Your mind, body, and spirit will need time to adjust before opening the channel wider... processing time is required before moving on.
I Attune students to Reiki Levels I and II at the same time. This is most often the way it is done, and it was my experience. My students have had wonderful experiences receiving both together.
Reiki Level III - Master Level
The third degree is when you reach the Master Level. In this degree, you have control over many more Reiki symbols. More importantly, you can perform the sacred Reiki Attunement ceremony on others at this level. In this process the vibration of energy is once again raised and refined with the alignment with Higher Consciousness. In the ceremony the Master symbol is taught. To become a Reiki Master one does not have to dedicate oneself to teaching others, the Reiki Master level can be taken for the purpose of healing the self and for the spiritual evolution through aligning with this energy.
Seichim
Seichim - Gift of the Great Mother
Seichim is an ancient and sacred form of hands on healing and is said to be the Parent Energy of all hands on healing systems. It was rediscovered in the early 1980’s by an American Reiki Master, Patrick Zeigler who prayed, meditated and fasted to be empowered, much in the same way that Dr Usui did when he rediscovered Reiki. As confirmation of what he had been given, Patrick later met Marat, an old Seichim teacher from Southern India, who passed onto him the history of Seichim as it had been handed down to him by his teachers, and to them by their teachers.
Marat told of how Seichim originally came from Egypt. It was translated and transcribed from hieroglyphs by the Shin Yon Buddhists of that time and taken back to India and Japan. Seichim is the Energy of the Universe manifested through the feminine vibration of the Mother Goddess, known by the Buddhists as Quan Yin, and by the Egyptians as Sekhmet. In ancient Egypt Sekmet was considered to be the Mother of the Gods, and was known as the Great One of Healing. Her magician-priests were the greatest of all healers, and her son, Nefer-Tem, the God of Physicians. In ancient Egypt the term “Sekhem” described “Power” or “Might”, and so Seichim Energy also contains aspects which we do not necessarily associate with femininity - i.e. they are more traditionally male characteristics, so it therefore incorporates both yin and yang, (or perfect balance). This balance is the key to progress and enlightenment.
Seichim is a beautiful way of accessing the energy of the Great Mother, and a path to deeper self-realisation/empowerment. It balances and realigns the yin-female aspect of our being on all levels - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual, and is an effective energy which can assist in dealing with many female health problems, such as, infertility, hormonal imbalances, PMS & menstrual / menopausal problems. It also re-adjusts imbalances on deeper levels of the psyche, e.g., lack of self-esteem, the need for / lack of nurturing, and especially self-empowerment and love.
Seichim takes you back to the very core of your being, enfolding you in the nurturing and healing energy of the Goddess and assisting you in re-establishing your contact with the timeless and secret wisdom of the Great Mother, which is the birthright of every woman; wisdom that has not been properly acknowledged for so long in our over male orientated society.
Seichim is not about power or dominance, it is about balance, harmony and unconditional love, as this is the only path to true enlightenment and spiritual unfolding. Seichim is a potent energy, and must be approached with respect and in a state of unconditional love. It cannot be entered into lightly, nor in an egotistical way. People must be prepared to put in time, patience and dedication if they wish to take this step, and must clearly understand that their lives will never be the same again once they have been initiated to Seichim energy. A Seichim Attunement is not for the faint-hearted, but the journey is exquisite once you have taken the step.

Preparing For A Reiki Attunement
A Reiki attunement is an initiation to open up crown, heart, and palm chakras to allow Reiki energies to flow through. A period of purification before the attunement is suggested to aid this process.
(Please note these are ONLY suggestions... do as many as You can in preparation for Your Attunements. )
Here's How:
- Take special care in selecting your Reiki instructor.
- Schedule your class date at least one week in advance.
- Eliminate (or reduce) intake of meat, fowl, or fish from your diet 3 days prior to your class date.
- Consider doing a water or juice fast for 1 to 3 days prior to the attunement.
- Consume no alcohol for at least 3 days prior to the attunement.
- If you are on any type of medication continue to take it as prescribed prior to and on the day of attunement.
- Smokers should take care to smoke as little as possible for the day prior to the class date and on the day of the attunement.
- Avoid outside stimulation (tv, radio, computers, newspapers).
- Find moments (hours) of solitude. Meditation and spending time with nature (walks, sitting beside streams, etc.)
- Be gentle with yourself. Don't tackle any tasks that will deplete your energies.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Cleanse your aura prior to class.
- Get a good night's rest the evening before your class. In the morning if you are not fasting, eat a light healthy breakfast.
Additional Suggestions:
- Daily prayers / connection with your inner guidance is recommended during this period.
- Be prepared for a 21 day cleansing period following the attunement process.
- If you are in a doctor's care you may wish to have him/her re-evaluate dosages of medicines being used after the 21 day purging/balancing period.
- If you are traveling to a distant town for your attunement consider that you may not feel up to driving home. Have an alternate plan to stay overnight at a motel.
