What Is A Belly Cast?
A Belly Cast, also called a Belly Mask or Belly Mold, is a plaster cast or mold that is done to capture the beauty and shape of Your pregnant body. This is the perfect way to have a three dimensional memory of Your baby within the womb.
These are precious keepsakes that can also be amazing pieces of art. The cast, when finished, can be left in it's raw, white, "unfinished" form, hand painted, or decorated in any way You can imagine.
*This is an example of a beautiful hand painted Belly Cast, however, this is not one I have done.
The cast can be done at any time during Your pregnancy. Many women choose to do more than one to show progression. However, the best casts are done during the 32nd-38th weeks of the pregnancy.
There are several ways the casting can be done:
•You can have a cast done of just Your pregnant belly.
•You can have a cast done of Your upper body with Your belly.
•You can have a cast done from shoulders down to the top of Your thighs.
•You can also have a cast done with either Your hands on Your belly or Your partner's hands on the belly.
The whole process takes anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on cast size.
The casts are done in the privacy of Your own home, and can be done in either a sitting or standing position.
This can be a beautiful and sacred ceremony by adding candles, soft music, and dim lighting. It can be a quiet and intimate time to reflect upon Your pregnancy journey and to connect with Your baby inside.
As a Reiki Practitioner, for a small additional fee, I can channel Reiki to You and Your baby during the casting-- sending healing, loving energy while consciously preserving the memory of this sacred rite of passage.

Belly and Breasts.............................................$200

(This type of cast is done with the woman's or partners hands placed on the Belly)
Large Body Cast..............................................$400
Large Body Cast hand painted........................$600 and up
(This type of cast is the neck down to the top 1/3 of the thighs. It includes the arms and hands placed on the pregnant Belly.)
Half the amount is due at the time the casting is done.
The other half is due upon completion. Belly casts that are left white usually take about 2 weeks to complete.
Hand painted casts can take up to 4 weeks to complete once the casting is done. Large body casts may take up to six weeks for completion.
**Consideration for the above pricing is based on the use of acrylic paint (and time). If oil paint is requested for a hand painted cast, the price will be adjusted to compensate for the added expense

With Brian's artistic gifts, my love, knowledge and respect for the journey of childbirth, and our shared passion for creating sacred and meaningful pieces- We Want to marry our gifts and passion and give You a Belly Cast that will honor You as a Divine Mother.

Brian has been drawing and painting since childhood. He has worked with many artistic mediums and is recognized in Salt Lake City, and much of the US, for his artistic works and talents. I too love to paint, and have been nurturing my Inner Artist for many years, however, my True Gift is writing and channeling messages. One creative option I have envisioned is channeling a message from Your new baby's Guardian Angel and writing this message in whole or in part onto the cast. Brian can paint something to symbolize the message.

The possibilities are endless, as this is a blank canvas in which to express Your Heart and Your Journey.
